19 E3 2019 Predictions

At the time of writing, we are just days away from the biggest event of the year for gamers, that of course being E3 2019. Simply because it is fun and engaging to predict announcements, trailers, reveals and more and because it is 2019, I present to you 19 of my own E3 2019 predictions.

DISCLAIMER: This list is in no particular order

1. Cyberpunk 2077 gets a gameplay trailer on Microsoft’s stage and has the release date at the end of March 2020
2. Gears 5 gets a trailer showing story and gameplay and ends with an October 2019 release date

3. Watch Dogs 3 is revealed in the opening of Ubisoft’s press conference and is confirmed to be released in November 2019

4. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 is revealed to be out on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch in August 2019

5. Animal Crossing for Switch gets a full gameplay trailer and breakdown with the release date confirmation of September 2019

6. Luigi’s Mansion 3 gets a gameplay trailer and breakdown and confirmed to release on Halloween this year

7. Doom Eternal gets a new gameplay trailer and a release date at the end of this November

8. Final Fantasy VII Remake gets another new trailer, similar to that of the most recent State of Play and ends with a release window of 2020

9. Just Dance is revealed as a sequel to the series but simply titled “Just Dance” and is shown through a musical number similar to that of E3 2018. The release date will be in October with platforms including the Wii and Wii U once more.

10. Super Smash Bros Ultimate’s next DLC fighter is revealed to be a character belonging to Microsoft, revealed by Phil Spencer in Nintendo’s Direct

11. Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course gets a quick trailer with a release date of this August and will be out day and date on the Switch with Xbox One and Windows; “Cuphead” will also be confirmed for Game Pass.

12. Bioshock returns with a tease at a sequel, that shows both Rapture and Colombia, as well as a new space setting

Image result for splinter cell13. Splinter Cell sequel closes off Ubisoft’s press conference; however, it is a small teaser and doesn’t give any release information or even platforms

14. Ninja Theory reveals a new I.P. with a 2020 release window, exclusively for the Xbox One and Windows


15. Fallout 4 and Prey are shown briefly at Bethesda’s press conference to be coming to the Switch in 2020

16. Metroid Prime Trilogy gets a reveal trailer of the three games in the series up-ressed for the Switch; the collection has a release date of March 2020

18. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening gets a new trailer and a December 2019 release date, as well as confirmation of the price-point of $49.99

19. Rocksteady’s new game, one based on the Justice League is revealed, closing off Microsoft’s press conference
